2009 Topps UFC Fight Poster Review: Georges St-Pierre vs Jon Fitch (UFC 87)

This is the kind of card that does two jobs at once, which is exactly why I grabbed it. It is the 2009 Topps UFC Fight Poster Review of Georges St-Pierre versus Jon Fitch, card number FPR-UFC87, a holofoil reproduction of the actual UFC 87 event poster. It lands right in the era I am building the base of my collection around, and it is a legend in his prime for pocket change.

The card reproduces the poster for UFC 87: Seek and Destroy, August 9, 2008 at the Target Center in Minneapolis. St-Pierre and Fitch headline across the top, with Florian versus Huerta and a young Brock Lesnar versus Heath Herring stacked on the undercard. The rainbow holofoil finish shifts in the light in a way no flat scan does justice.
